THE AMBLERS

We are a friendly Walking Group who enjoy the outdoors. Our walks usually last for a couple of hours commencing at 10am and we cover a distance of three to four miles at a leisurely pace. Our members take it in turn to research and lead the monthly walk. Venues in the last year include Hockley Woods, West Hanningfield, South Woodham Ferrers, Wickham Bishops and Downham. The walks are always circular and there is an opportunity to replenish flagging spirits afterwards as we always finish at a pub for drinks and/or a meal.
